One-owner 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider

 THE MODEL

The 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider is a classic Italian sports car known for its sleek design and spirited performance. This was the first year of the Series 3 of 4 Spiders.  The Spider was introduced in 1966 and remained in production until 1994.

The 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider featured a number of updates and improvements compared to its predecessors. It had a distinctive, timeless design characterized by its rounded lines, a long hood, and a compact body. The Spider's elegant appearance was complemented by its folding convertible top, allowing for open-air driving experiences.

Under the hood, the 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider was powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine, which produced around 111 horsepower. The engine was paired with a five-speed manual transmission, providing a dynamic driving experience. The Spider was known for its responsive handling, thanks to its rear-wheel-drive configuration and balanced weight distribution.

THE CAR

This car is an excellent one-owner example and a lifelong California resident.  It has the stunning Nero Metallic paint and is shod in Campagnolo wheels.  A very good condition top seals well from water.  The owner added the gorgeous Carello headlight covers.

We have a mountain of paperwork on this car.  The owner did most of the work himself but had Import Doctor in San Ramon look after any of the heavy lifting over the life of the car.  An excellent runner, this car simply needs to be enjoyed.

It also comes with a host of spare parts, including a front and rear carpet set, a new catalytic converter and new headers along with a other small items.  The owner was a long-time member of the Alfa community, including being part of both the Alfa Romeo Associaton and Alfa Romeo Owners Club.  The car has been shown at many events in the past.
