THE EVENT

Starting at the Bay Area Discovery Museum at the foot of the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, this 80 mile, 3+ hour rally will travel some of the best roads on the California Coast!

50 cars were entered for a spirited run through twisty mountain roads and open rolling canyons, eventually ending in Petaluma at The Racers Group race shop for lunch and an Adobe Road Winery tasting.

With approximately half the cars being modern sports cars the rest amazing vintage classics, there was definitely something for everyone!

VIDEO COVERAGE

THE HERO!

Ian Flanagan, the local Hagerty Insurance rep was there to come to the rescue of a 1968 Fiat Dino Coupe that had a mechanical at the top of one of the steep grades.  Not only did Ian arrange for a flatbed tow truck to get the car safely home, he even chauffeured the owner all the way back to his house.  He missed the rest of the tour, but showed us all the true spirit of Hagerty!

FAN FAVORITE!

With all the exotic machinery at this rally, the one that turned the most heads was the car always turning up fashionably late, a stately 1959 Bentley S1.  It soldiered on up the mountains and through the canyons and didn't miss a beat.  Even if it did have to stop a while to allow it's drum brakes to cool!
