2008 Ducati Monster S4RS TriColore

THE MODEL

The Ducati Monster S4S is a high-performance naked sport bike that bridges classic Monster styling with superbike-derived muscle. Powered by a liquid-cooled 996cc L-twin from the Ducati 996, it delivers around 130 horsepower with a strong, urgent midrange and a raw, mechanical character. The steel trellis frame keeps the bike compact and aggressive, while high-end components—most notably fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and powerful Brembo brakes—give it sharp handling and serious stopping power. Visually, it’s pure old-school Ducati: exposed frame, single-sided swingarm, minimal bodywork, and a purposeful stance. With little in the way of electronic rider aids, the S4S offers an unfiltered, visceral riding experience that rewards skilled riders and remains one of the most coveted Monsters for its blend of performance, design, and unmistakable Ducati soul.

THE TRICOLORE

The S4RS Tricolore was released in 2008 as a special limited edition of Ducati’s flagship naked Monster.  Only 400 units were produced worldwide, and roughly 250 were officially imported into the United States.  Ducati also fitted carbon fiber components on elements such as the front mudguard, radiator covers, cam belt covers, and silencer cover to reduce weight and enhance the premium feel.  Unique cosmetic pieces included a one-off clutch cover and special trim not found on standard S4RS models.

THE BIKE

This bike is very last TriColore to come off the production line.  It's #400 of 400.  It has only 3129 miles and is in excellent shape.  If you're looking for a fast, special and rare motorcycle, this very well could be your bike!
