THE MODEL
The 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena marked a major evolution for Ferrari's mid-engine V8 sports cars, replacing the 355 with a cleaner, more modern design and a substantially more advanced aluminum space-frame chassis. The six-speed manual version is particularly desirable because most 360s were eventually sold with Ferrari's F1 automated-manual gearbox.
At its heart is a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing approximately 400 hp at 8,500 rpm and 275 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mounted longitudinally behind the cabin and drives the rear wheels through a conventional open-gate six-speed manual transmission. The engine's 8,500-rpm power peak and high-revving character are central to the 360's personality.
THE CAR
This is a clean CarFax car with no accidents or damage reported. Before the car came to us the owner had it sent to Ferrari of San Francisco and asked them to take care of any service items big or small that the car might have. That resulted in a $36k service invoice just last month.
Items included on the factory service include:
* Timing belt service
* Drive belts
* Spark plugs
* Filters
* All fluids
* New AC Compressor and recharge
* New driver door lock actuator
* Two new fuel pumps and fuel delivery pipes
* Engine mounts
* New tires
* New battery
To say that this car needs nothing, is an understatement!
