THE MODEL


The E24 BMW M6 was from 1983 to 1989.  It is the second generation of the BMW 6 Series, which is known for its stylish design, luxurious features, and impressive performance.  The M6 showcases a sleek and aerodynamic design. It features a long, low-slung hood, a sloping roofline, and a muscular stance. The front end is characterized by its iconic kidney grille, quad headlights, and a prominent air dam. The body is sculpted with clean lines and flared fenders, emphasizing its performance-oriented nature.


Under the hood, the 1988 BMW M6 is powered by a 3.5-liter inline-six engine.. This engine is equipped with BMW's M88/3 fuel injection system and produces around 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The M6 is rear-wheel drive and features a sport-tuned suspension, offering excellent handling and responsive driving dynamics.

We'll have more details coming soon about this one-owner California car.  Inside and out, top to bottom, this car is in impeccable shape.  You'd be hard pressed to find a non-restored example in better condition.  With 149k miles on the clock, this is an excellent example of the E24 M6 and definintely worthy of adding to a collection!
