THE MODEL


The E24 BMW M6 was from 1983 to 1989.  It is the second generation of the BMW 6 Series, which is known for its stylish design, luxurious features, and impressive performance.  The M6 showcases a sleek and aerodynamic design. It features a long, low-slung hood, a sloping roofline, and a muscular stance. The front end is characterized by its iconic kidney grille, quad headlights, and a prominent air dam. The body is sculpted with clean lines and flared fenders, emphasizing its performance-oriented nature.


Under the hood, the 1988 BMW M6 is powered by a 3.5-liter inline-six engine.. This engine is equipped with BMW's M88/3 fuel injection system and produces around 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The M6 is rear-wheel drive and features a sport-tuned suspension, offering excellent handling and responsive driving dynamics.

We'll have more details coming soon about this California car.  Inside and out, top to bottom, this car is in impeccable shape.  You'd be hard pressed to find a non-restored example in better condition.  With 149k miles on the clock, this is an excellent example of the E24 M6 and definintely worthy of adding to a collection!
