THE MODEL

The BME E30 line began in 1982 as a replacement to the first BMW 3 series, the E21.  Running through 1994 the E30 series received a facelift in 1987.  The E30 line comprised a two and four door sedan, a convertible and a wagon. The regular 3 series cars used an inline 6-cylinder engine (the M20).  The first M3 used the marvelous I4 S14 motor.  Some of the features that modernized, and made famous, the E30 line of cars include: MacPherson Struts in the front and a rear semi-trailing arm, which left ample trunk and passenger room.  Brakes on 1987+ were vented disc brakes.

THIS CAR

Not a little old lady from Pasadena, but close!  A one owner California car, the woman owner purchased it from the San Francisco BMW.  This car has approximately 61,100 miles has a 5-speed transmission.  We have all records from 1999 onwards with services by SF BMW and the renowned Phaedrus independent BMW shop in the city.  It has had it's timing belt changed twice (due to age, not need or mileage) last one in 2017 and a clutch repalcement in 2020.

The car has been kept in immaculate condition and as far as we can tell, features all its original paint   The interior is in extremely good condition.  The dash, headliner, etc is also in that same immaculate condition.

This is a true time capsule, an unmodified, original, no rust California one owner car.  Make all the heads turn at the next RADwood 80's event by driving up in this stunningly clean Bronzitbeige Metallic BMW!
