THE MODEL
The 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was a continuation of the venerable 911 line. With its iconic Targa roof, it seamlessly combines the thrill of open-air driving with the structural integrity of a coupe. Sporting a powerful 3.2-liter flat-six engine, producing 217 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in around 5.5 seconds, with a top speed approaching 150 mph. The rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration, along with responsive steering and well-tuned suspension, contributes to its excellent handling dynamics.
THE CAR
This car was completed on March 18th, 1987 in Stuttgart and features the striking combination of Diamond Metallic Blue with a black Targa top and Marine Blue interior. A lifetime California car it has been well taken care of by it's few owners over it's lifetime, never leaving the San Francisco Bay Area.
