THE MODEL
The 1987 Honda Accord LXi Hatchback was produced right in the middle of the 3rd gen of Accords. Designed by Toshi Oshika, it was the first Accord with hidden headlamps. It was also the first Honda to employ double wishbone suspension at the front and the rear. The 2.0 engine was surprisingly powerful producing 110hp.
THIS CAR
This highly original car is an amazing time capsule. Purchased new by the current owner, it has always been garaged. Regularly service by the Honda dealership, we have a 1" think folder of service receipts. Wearing it's all original paint, it also has a sunroof and the interior is in incredibly immaculate condition. The car has been driven just under 102,000 miles and starts immediately after sitting for any extended period of time. Easily passing smog, you will not find another survivor of this era in such great original space.
