THE MODEL
The 1982 Porsche 911 retained the iconic silhouette and design elements along with that rear-engined flat-six motor. The 1982 Porsche 911SC came with a 3.0-liter flat-six engine that produced around 180 horsepower paired with a 5-speed transmission. It had more amenities than earlier versions of the 911, including upgraded stereo systems, sunroof, power windows, leather upholstry and air conditioning.
THE CAR
Built in 2016, this backdated 1982 Porsche 911 has a twin-spark 3.4L flat six with a shortened G50 transmission and a limited slip differential. Over $200k has been invested in this build and it's among the fastest, best handling aircooled 911's.
Now with just over 8000 miles since the completed build, this 911 is dialed in and ready for more. We have just run a compression test where it has achieved 150psi +/- 2 in all cylinders. The 3.4L with twin-spark provides loads of power and torque. Koni shocks, ground control coil overs, elephant racing suspension pair with Brembo brakes and a Fabspeed exhaust, all sitting on Rotiform wheels with a custom flamed copper lip.
The rollbar is powder coated in that same flamed copper and braces an interior that features an alacantra and tartan interior with air conditioning and a high end JL Audio stereo system. A removable Momo steering wheel has been added to complete the feel. This car has it all, great performance, amazing looks and great conveniences with Bluetooth, rocking sound system and AC for those hot days!
