THIS CAR
This car was acquired by the owner as a non-running project. Picked up during COVID, our client, a mechanic completed a comprehensive restoration on the car.
All the mechanicals were either rebuilt or new. The engine received a new cam, pistons, rings, bearings, bored 0.030 over and balanced. New fuel pump, injectors, 123 distributor, new clutch, throw out bearing. Brakes and suspension were completely overhauled.
The car was stripped for rust repair and paint. The interior was all new as well. Over $9500 in parts from Volvo specialists VP Autoparts, Over $20k total invested as well as the owner's countless hours into the build.
The car now presents as a great driver, one sure to be enjoyed by anyone who loves this famous quirky Swedish car!
