1968 Volvo 122S - Amazon

THE MODEL

The 1968 Volvo 122S, also known as the Amazon, is a classic example of Swedish engineering and timeless design. THE CAR

The current owner purchased this Amazon in 2013.  The previous owner purchased it as a project and complete a full bare metal and mechanical restoration.  The car has a rebuilt B20 motor with dual SU carbs, upgraded springs, shocks, sway bars and busings.  The interior was also restored at the time.

The current owner added Koito headlamps and fog lamps, an NOS Abarth exhaust system, they upgraded the rear axle to P1800 spec with rear disc brakes.  The period radio has been upgraded to bluetooth.  It's had rescent services by Volvo specialist SVS Automotive Corp in Sacramento.

The car is in very good mechanical shape, with an older restoration . This a great Amazon with lots of cool details!
