THIS CAR

This 1960 VW Beetle Convertible was converted to EV power in 2012 by Duke's Garage of Westminster, CO.  The current owner acquired the car in 2019 and has used it for fun local drives.  The car has upgraded Audi disc brakes, an HPVES engine and two banks of electric batteries.  It retains it's original transmission and the electric motor brings the horsepower to approximately double the original gas powered engine delivered.
