1929 Ford Model A Standard Roadster

THE MODEL

The 1929 Ford Model A Roadster was part of Ford Motor Company's second major success after the legendary Model T. Introduced in 1927 as a 1928 model, the Model A was a complete redesign, showcasing improved styling, more modern features, and a smoother ride.

The Roadster variant was a two-seater open-top car, designed for style and fun rather than practicality. It featured removable side curtains instead of roll-up windows, a folding soft top, and was available with or without a rumble seat for occasional extra passengers.

THE CAR

This car was cared for under long term ownership by Bay Area radio personality Jim Dunbar, who showed the car at the Hillsborough Concours and other car events across the San Francisco Bay Area.  It was passed onto his daughter and the car is now part of the Candy Store Foundation.

This car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition!
