2005 Subaru impreza WRX STI

In 1992 Subaru introduced the WRX STi, as an all wheel drive based upon the Impreza platform and created for the World Rally Championship.  It achieved great fame at the hands of Colin McRae where it won the manufacturers and drivers championship from 1995-97.  The second generation road car began in 2000. It offered 300 horsepower from it's 2.5-liter turbocharged boxer engine and durable six-speed manual transmission along with a driver controllable center differential.

This particular WRX STi is a one-owner 2005 model, purchased from Subaru in Oakland, CA.  It was a daily driver until the owner became a professional racecar driver and the car was professionally stored as there was little time to drive the car with heavy travel schedule.

The car now has 49,430 original miles, has passed a California smog and is completely unmodified from stock. The car is currently live on Bring a Trailer, ending Thursday, February 3rd, 1pm PST.
